Wilson and Dark's Traveling Carnival and Theater of Marvels

Wilson and Dark Bring October Carnival to Maine

On October 29, 2005, Wilson and Dark's Traveling Carnival and Theater of Marvels arrived at the Town Hill VIS Hall. Wilson and Dark's Traveling Carnival and Theater of Marvels included carnival games and many unusual entertainments including the Feejee Mermaid, the Gypsy Fortune Teller, traditional sideshow feats, and magic by Dr. Wilson and Professor Miller. At 5:00 pm, Dr. Wilson will participate in Worldwide Escape Artist Relay, the largest coordinated performance by escape artists in history!

Wilson and Dark's Traveling Carnival and Theater of Marvels was a fundraising event to benefit the West Eden Village Improvement Society. The event begans at 10:00 am with continuous entertainment until 6:00 pm for only $5.

The Town Hill VIS Hall is located adjacent to the Town Hill Fire Station, across the road from the Town Hill Market on State Highway 102.

Sarah Hinckley of the Mount Desert Islander interviewed Dr. Wilson at home in advance of the Worldwide Escape Artist Relay. See her article and photos in the October 19 issue of the Mount Desert Islander.
